Hello,
I am experiencing a problem with my Mikrotik HAP AC2 router. The issue began while attempting to update the firmware, which failed. Subsequently, I tried a hard reset, but this resulted in an inability to access the router at all. Now, when I connect a network cable to any Ethernet port, there is no connection established with my PC.
To address this, I downloaded the “routeros-7.13.2-arm.npk” file and placed it on a USB drive. I then attempted to reset the router while the USB drive was connected, hoping to reinstall the firmware. Unfortunately, this method did not work, although I did notice that the USB LED blinked, indicating the router might not be accessing the USB drive as intended.
Could you advise on any other recovery methods I might try, or is there a possibility that the device is permanently damaged?
