Hi,
I am running a set of RB333 0S 3.9, running in a WDS bridge, one set as Bridge AP, the other WDS slave, and when they disconnect, no beacons received, the reconnect 2 seconds later, but they take 37 seconds for traffic to start running thru them again. Looking in the log of the first one ( Bridge AP) , it shows 5.2GHz: failed to set bridge port for 5.2GHz, reason: device already added as bridge port(6).
Do I have something set wrong on the spanning tree, the WDS port in bridge is showing up as the root port, shouldn’t the ethernet port be listed as the root port?
this is what I have showing in the bridge ports,
interface bridge priority path cost role root path cost
5.2 GHz bridge1 80 10 designated path
WDS bridge1 80 10 root port 20
ether1 bridge1 80 10 designated path
I have under each port
edge, point to point, and external FDB, are all set to auto,
I have looked and have not found anything on the site that tells what all these settings do and should be set to. So I have left them all in default settings.
On the WDS slave side the Ether1 is shown as “root port”, shouldn’t the WDS be the root port.
Thanks
Glenn
