Failing ether interfaces?

Have two rb411’s.
Both accessible with nul modem cable.
Both able to upgrade latest boot loader as wel any other firmware etc. over nul modem.
Latest version (4.6) of NetInstal doesn’t see the router.

Probles started after failing eth. cable made router make several short lived power cycles in short time. Does this kill the ether port?

Although the console tells me the ether1 interface is enabled it cannot reach any connected device.
Board gets power over this POE interface.
Board won’t be discovered by Neigbour, are any mac telnet session to its mac.

Does this mean the ether interface is dead beyond repair?

Have same with rb333 but here only access on ether 2 and 3. Ether1 no more access. Not on mac level.

RMA for these boards?
I have over 200 different boards. Some purchase with MT direct, some with two other different suppliers.
What board is purchase where is unknown.

What to do next?

Hi, if you don’t have ethernet connection but RB load RouterOS in most case RB PHY is dead. If you know some skiled electronics engineer or ham radio guy you can repair RB localy ( RB repairing is not so difficult ) or write e-mail to rma@mikrotik.com and explain your problem.
