I’ve been having problems with failing Ethernet ports on hEX lites. I took one out the box this morning, configured it with the latest software (6.41.2), and one of the ports had failed by lunch time. About three or four hEX lites have failed on me like this.
The problem manifests itself as a port LED that is always on whether a cable is plugged in or not. The port doesn’t pass traffic.
I thought that it might be due to static electricity, but no other device with Ethernet ports that I use has this problem.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know what the cause might be?
