I have RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN running dual WAN. I am using mangle to mark IPs 10.10.10.180 to 10.10.10.200 as “to_WAN2” and all the rest of IPs as “to _WAN1”. Everything works fine when fasttrack is disabled. When it is enabled, there is only one IP (10.10.10.181 - PlasyStation 4) that slows down dramatically. Normally PS4 shows 25-30 Mb/s download and 5-10 Mbps upload on its connection test. When I turn fasttrack on, it drops down to 100-200 kbps download and 20-50 kbps upload. The rest of the devices assigned to WAN2 works fine. It’s only the one that shows problems. What can that be?
With FastTrack enabled, mangling is bypassed. So all your traffic goes over your default wan link, and you’re not using both.
Mangling and FastTrack are incompatible.
What you could do: FastTrack default route. and process “special” route (=wan2) using full processing.
Should I add something to fasttrack rule to point, that it is only for WAN1 connections?
mark connections for fasttrack in chain=forward, only from lan to wan1.
I try meny options but no luck. I have 2 isp, one is 300mbps second is 100mbps. I only use failover and some ip addresses use only wan 2 but when I enable fasttrack all devices who use wan 2 no internet. What I do. Thanks in advance.
