We would like to request to re-add the old feature “Admin Web Interface for the User Manager” in the new version of User Manager in RouterOS 7 (um5)
Feature Request: We need admin Web Interface for the User Manager as in the old version!

Have you tried managing it using Webfig? If you create a skin you can make something pretty close to what you are asking for.

can have different owner for profiles and users ?
such as :

  • HRD can create, edit and delete profiles and users for internal staffs
  • Reception can create, edit and delete profiles and users for guests
    HRD can not touch and see the profile and users handle by Reception and vice versa

can it be done by webfig ?

Must have, without it, it is useless, for example, over 100 users with addresses, telefon, email… where to write it on V7 UM?

PPP have possibilitie to make own user, Hotspot also, CapsMan have access list, and all that through winbox/webfig, only UM was, with more possibilities.

Maybe on external disk, like sd-card if is database, too big for standard HDD-s on current routers.

Agreed, why remove this at all?

+1 on the UserManager admin/customer access

then it is absurd that the “Design Skin” item is active if the user has Policy permissions. in some cases this is unacceptable. the skin design should be toggleable regardless
