Feature request: Direct package download and install

Please,
would you consider adding the posibility to select packages from offered list of available packages before an update is performed?

It should allow to add additional package that was not installed before, so it could not be updated automatically.

The same option should be available for the actually installed version - to add a package by direct download from the upgrade.mikrotik.com site without any need of manual work - to find a zip file, download, unzip, copy the files to the router and reboot. The functionality is already there, only provide the ability to the user to choose what to add…

I agree it would be a nice feature.

Looks like not so many people thinks that it is useful. That’s a pity.

Would be nice to be able to download additional packages. Easily be able to install dude or something. Would also be nice to be able to convert from the combined package to individual and back again.

And another +1 from me.

My first even action with new Mikrotik devices is to manual copy up-to-date individual packages to the device and reboot. I do not like the combined package(s)…
