Feature request: EAP authentication with user/password in wlan client

without 3rd-party RADIUS server ? dat would be totally cool !! eventually become quite usable package.
i would also like EAP/PEAP support for ethernet interfaces(and 802.1x-2008 itself)

That is not what I mean.
The EAP authentication with Radius server works fine for MikroTik access points, but the clients cannot make
the connection using username/password/identity.
When using a Ubiquiti client with a MikroTik access point it works OK.
What I would like to see is the option in the MikroTik wireless equipment when used as a client to do this type
of EAP authentication.
I believe it can already do this with the MAC address as the username and password, but I need the freely
configurable text fields for those 3 values, similar to what is avaiable in Ubiquiti wireless equipment.

you you would find useful username/password combo aswell in EAP/PEAP mode ? sounds good too, to me.
sorry for misunderstanding.
for similar purposes - would nice to consider any forms of 2-way auth support for wifi too, then(which make its Way more reliable/secure, than just “password-based” only, before).
