Feature Request: EAP-TLS authentication with user manager

I believe that User-Manager is not able to provide with PEAP or similar authentication.
Currently you need to use Free RADIUS or similar product to get PEAP or other kind of authentication.

Is there any update for the upcoming RouterOS v7 or v8?

I need to setup 802.1x MSCHAPv2-like authentication for the Wireless security environment, and I don’t have another machine to run the free-radius server.

Or, can we run one free-radius server in the RouterOS?

My smaller customers are interested in PEAP but are not willing to manage a server of any size.

It’s beautiful, but if only we could get rid of external dependencies, i.e. third-party RADIUS, it would be even better. Yeah, I know, some people are never satisfied, call me ungrateful if you want.

Exactly my thought. Why cant make the built-in auth server?

+1s are little annoying but in this case I have to add my one - user manager should be able to act as RADIUS server for other APs.

Man, you gotta be kidding me,

It’s 2019 and truly I’m not the only one who loves the user-manager package.

The tiny radius server helps us in many different scenarios.

Please, MikroTik,
Update the Usermanager to support EAP authentication protocols.

Don’t let the good-old usermanager die like this.
