Hello, it would be great if ROS had a global menu to store names for ip and mac addresses or their ranges.
The point is that now you have to duplicate the same information on different parts of the settings, for example the host may have mac-ip pair in dhcp settings, then for the same host may be specific firewall rules, traffic from the host may have additional routing tables. With mac similar situation: dhcp, firewall, wifi access list, static arp, … - everywhere it is necessary to duplicate and synchronize the information in case of change of the address. It would be cool if all the menus in which you can enter the address (mac or ip) would take the name described in the global list, so if the address has changed it needs to be changed only in one place, and if it is no longer needed it deleting will automatically invalidate all records where it is used (and they will be immediately visible).
