Please, can you implement very simple Nmap tool or some tool with I can test connection on defined UDP or TCP port?
BTW: TCP I can test via “/system telnet ” but UDP not:-(
So the next exploit we find in the wild will be hijacked Mikrotik routers with default admin password doing nmap scans of the Internet for their botnet masters because people forgot to update their input firewall rules to protect interface pppoe-out1 instead of the default ether1-gateway interface. . .
I’m sure the botnet herders will +1 this feature request.
to ZeroByte: everything can be misused…of course, we can remove ping, telnet and DNS features and so on for better tomorrow’s…if somebody has bad firewall rules and attacker have access to the device so this feature will be the last thing what attacker needs…he has everything just now…
