Feature Request: nstreme-dual & 2ghz-5mhz & superchannel

Hello,

I am a hamradio operator from germany and our community is looking for fullduplex capable WLAN devices which work out of the normal band with limited bandwith. Our government currently allows up to 10 MHz bandwith for data links.

I did take a look on the documentation and found at “/interface wireless nstreme-dual” only the choice “2.4ghz-b”, “2.4ghz-g” and “2.4ghz-g-turbo”. For our purpose we need “2ghz-10mhz” or “2ghz-5mhz” there. Is there a chance to get this feature in future releases?

I plan to talk about how to build cheap data links for amateur radio networks at the international packet radio meeting in Darmstadt this April. So it would be great to announce good news for our community.

Drop me a note if you wish to see my special radio license from the government with allowed frequencies and bandwith.

Thank you very much,

Hi Jan,

i am also from Germany and i think 40Mhz-Channels are allowed and used many times, definitely in the 5Ghz-Range. Why do you think only 10Mhz are allowed?

Topic closed, since the latest RouterOS has the requested feature built in.
