[feature request] Setting NTP servers using hostnames

Hello,

in short – is there any chance to set NTP servers using DNS names? Like this:

/system ntp client set primary-ntp=ntp1.xxx.cz secondary-ntp=ntp2.xxx.cz

I know that it can be done from Winbox, but the joke is that it only translates the DNS names to fixed IP addresses in-place, and saves the IP addresses.

It would be nice if DNS names could be saved, so that the routers for example automatically use new NTP servers on change, or auto-rotate pooled NTP servers.

Thanks for the answer (or at least for a reason why is this not possible :] )

+1 for that.

Its annoying needing scripts to do that. ROS does have the functionality in other areas like the walled garden IP list.
