I searched the forums and just found people having same problems as me, and the workaround requires connection tracking or having access to all uplink firewalls.
The problem is that more and more ISPs are having to block 123/udp destinations to their network to mitigate/avoid DDoS attacks. I would like to have a simple feature on mkt SNTP client: use a random source port, or be able to set an alternative port number. After all, SNTP client does not bind to 123/udp, so should not be have to use that.
