The graphs in dude are working great, how about getting a usage meter so I can see how much bandwidth people use in total rather than just seeing how often the use it ![]()
That sounds really cool –
NOt sure if it is possible but can i track how much traffic a repeater is
sending and receiving?
Would make it faser to track down a wild user.
not sure what you want to achieve, but you can monitor interface packet and
octet counts instead of rates already.
To do this change label field in appearance settings of link - insert
‘Interface.InOctets’ or ‘Interface.OutOctets’ variable.
me or schat ![]()
Are there any plans for a traffic total? Maybe put the total in and total out on a specific graph, with a reset button ![]()
It really would be great to get a more acurate reading of which sites are doing the most traffic (will help to more ac load balancing the links)
percentage of used traffic? percentage of what, the interface maximum? like used is 20Mb from 100Mb? but what if there is a queue to 30Mbit? How will you know that?
I think they are just asking for a better graphical interfaces to be used on dude statistics all arround than just a chart using lines indexes versus time(hour, day, month, year). i.e. bar graphs, odometers, circular speedmeter with needle, etc.. or perhaps 3D charts, pie…
It’s an old thread, But I’d like to put in my .2c.
Definately total traffic through a graph. If we can already do it, let me know!
Lets say I monitor a Router with a client and I want to bill them $$ for using their GB, to be able to report on totals would be fantastic!
Has there been any updates to this thread? I would like to add the total no the network traffic graph as well.
Thanks!
A good tool for this is netflow. Netflow counts flows per ip address and packets. Scrutinizer is free but only records one day of traffic.
Does routeros support netflow?
