It would be really nice if we could assign a particular user access to only parts of the website interface. For instance, you assign an intranet web user, assign the user privilege to access only maps. When they log in, they only see the maps button for an overview of the system.
I don’t necessarily want these users to see the admin button, the devices button and so on.
afaik, this is similar to request to automaticly export map picture every x minutes…

Exporting a picture every x minutes would be just as useful. Perhaps it is even better than allowing people access to the system.
I like the export picture idea. It is probably easier to implement than to change security settings on the web interface.
i need this feature too, the scheduled map export to the local picture file on dude server or upload to the webserver via ftp is very good idea
