Feature Request: WebFig Firewall Rules add specified pos.

Hi

We have some Mikrotiks in use that have an extensive set of firewall rules and chains. It’s a bit impractical that new rules can only be added at the bottom of the list.

It would be great to have a “+” Button near the “D” and “-” Buttons to be able to insert a rule at a specified position. (Below the rule you clicked on the plus.)

What do you think?

Yes, this is obvious deal-breaker. Visual reordering, grouped rules and other objects should be well-thought and structured.
Yes, we need the GUI equivalent for 90% of the CLI commands. And this is the example of the most critical need. Good visual representation helps to organize things and to find bugs.

Please, take this seriously. Group the rules by tables, chains. If jump, the next column should not be “from”, it should be “to”. Introduce necessary automatics. If i allow some protocol in GUI, add the corresponding established rule in the reverse direction automatically, please.

The routers/firewalls may be potentially powerful, but if their support require long learning and huge (expensive) human efforts, then the OPEX will be too high and the ROI too low.

So the most basic functionality, inserting a firewall rule, is not supported by the router’s web-based configuration application, brilliantly called “WebFig”.

You may as well have not bothered making a web interface at all. That would have been more honest.
