Feature Request

Can we get a loopback interface option?

I’d like to have an option to create at least one loopback that I can assign an IP to.

Now I know there are other ways to create the same result, but it seems more logical to just have a loopback interface option. On my Cisco gear we connect to them via the loopback address and have BGP sessions and such using them. No matter what happens or what interface is up or down, the loopback is reachable. This is currently simulated on MT gear using a bridge interface without ports and has a /32 on it, but it seems more formal to have a true loopback interface option.

Not a big deal, but if it’s added I’m sure a lot of us building higher-end networks would make proper use of it.

Empty bridge interface is the same as loopback interface.
Add bridge and name it “loopback” then you will be able to ‘make proper use of it’.

Another feature request…

I would like to be able to import multiple ssh keys with one file.
