I would like a function that changes the color of the label. So, for example
if link TX > 1M change background to red

This is configurable per map or globally, click settings click map click link appearance.
Also you can manually change a link to appear full by modifying your individual link speeds.
Say you have a gigabit link that is usually never more than 50Mbps.
Set the link speed to 60Mbps to get some color when it is getting normal usage.
