You can copy and paste, I would delete any links between the device before copy and pasting.

actually, all historic (graphing/probe) data seems also to be kept when copy+pasting making the config file (.xml) quite large in the process. You can open it with your favourite editor to check yourself..

btw: Thomas B. - you ever been working for RZ@RWTH? I remember a Thomas Bottcher who I had to call whenever I had done something “interesting” with one of the Cisco WAP’s that caused them to crash/freeze

Hi i would like the ability to set a default [Device.UserName]&pass before a scan or a defualt [Device.UserName]&pass for adding a new device, as with many networks i am sure you guys don’t use admin without an password to manage your devices.

Either one of the following will work great for us.

Global setting for [Device.UserName] and Password
Specified string/map for [Device.UserName]
specified username/password/device for user account that logs in aka if i log in to the dude i will use my own username/password to log into the devices that global setting is set under the users area, or as part of the panel for the user?
