Feature requests, USB3 and software library like openwrt

I’d like to request that mikrotik come out with usb3 and esata on their routers. This isnt exactly to do with storage but rather usb3 with its maximum output of 5Gb/s can also be used to add network interfaces too which can also be powered from the usb port. Even wireless AC exceeds the maximum speed of usb2.

I’d also like to request that mikrotik have a software repository just like with openwrt and at least a programming API to allow others to write software for routerOS as additional software. This could be a torrent client for example, or maybe even better dynamic dns support. I know routerOS has a current API but that only works with scripting or external software instead of software that can run on the router itself. This can also help for drivers too to support more usb wifi cards and such. By allowing others to write and add functionality to routerOS it would mean the devs could focus more on the core OS and features instead of having to develop new features based on demands.

This will probably never happen, because it may compromise the router stability and lead to a lot of supplemental support effort.
But may I suggest the ability to run java applications in a jvm on the router? Or maybe a restricted OS and net API using Docker? This would sandbox the third party code…
