A few simple feature requests…

  • Comments for IpSec peers.
  • Comments for IpSec policies.
  • Comments for IpSec proposals.
  • Allow caller-id field in PPP → Secrets items to have multiple values/address-list.
  • Capability to leave MOTD boxes/messages for other users in Winbox (like the one that pops up on a new routerboard.)

It looks like IPSec peers also have comment fields, at least in the CLI.

That only provides notes for terminal connections. I need to be able to leave note dialogs in Winbox.
And the comments only work for policies, not peers or proposals, and are not visible in Winbox.

I’d like the ability to associate actions with various events - for example when a DHCP lease is issued. Even better would be if there were pre-and post-event actions - so using the DHCP lease example again, an event would occur before the lease was granted (perhaps including the IP address it’s about to offer the client) and if the action returns OK, the address is issued and the post-event action is then run.
