dear all, have you guys experience this symptom?
[chrone@mikrotik] > /tool fetch address=ixp.mikrotik.co.id src-path=/download/nice.rsc
status: connecting
status: finished

but there’s no file actually saved into hdd it works on 3.14 and 3.15 very well but not on this new version
Yeah I see this too, the file fetched is apparently not saved to the disk, FTP into the router also shows no fetched file in root dir.
After upgrading to 3.16 x86 the files on the router were gone, but the data is still taking space on the router hard drive as if it is really there

please specify dst-path when doing fetch. we will fix correct default dst-path in next version. currently your file is saved outside your reach

As was said… currently your file is saved outside your reach
Thanks Normis, the files that were on the hdd prior to upgrade to 3.16 are still taking up space but are not within user reach as you pointed out. How can we recover these “hidden” files back from outside our reach?
For others reading this forum, the solution for dst-path can be specified like this:
/tool fetch address="www.domain.com" src-path="/subdir/filename.extension" dst-path="/filename.extension"
