FIDO ed25519 user ssh keys

FIDO ed25519 ssh keys stored on a Yubikey are not able to be imported to routeros (tried 7.12rc5 but the same should be true for all routeros versions), reporting error :

unable to load key file (wrong format or bad passphrase)!

The key is however valid and is able to be validated using ssh-keygen (OpenSSH stable 9.5p1 is what I am using)

I would like to request support for FIDO2 ssh keys - this will make it much easier to enable strong authentication to routeros devices please

From release notes of 7.12 (released today):

*) ssh - added support for user ed25519 public keys;

So upgrade to 7.12 and check if it works for you. If not, then ask for support directly MT support (support@mikrotik.com), posting in this forum won’t help (much).
