File operation error / Console has crashed - v5.18

I have RouterOS v5.18 running on a quality x86 server with SSD and the router has been running perfectly for 123 days without reboot.

When I tried to create a backup today by using “export compact file=backup” I received “file operation error”. After that I tried “export compact” to take a capture of the current config but received “Console has crashed; please log in again”. If I try delete an old file I get “Couldn’t remove file - action failed”.

The system has plenty memory and disk space free.

Is it a failed disk? How can I check without rebooting? Everything else appears to be running fine.

try a check-disk. With reeboot (make a backup if somhow possible first) it sounds like a broken disk. (same issues that we had on oooooold MT Cards With cf, where logging was not dissabled.)

It was a hard disk failure. Amazing OS… was still running perfectly without a hard disk.

I haver the same ploblem, if i disable logging on disk, will it help?
