I have already two boxes with corrupted filesystem. That happens after system is swithed off many times, due to grid power failure.
One system is 2.8.28 and another is 2.9.13. I hade to put the Flash Card of 2.8 BOX onto Flash Card reader and do fsck with pointing on second set of superblocks to recover! I do not know yet what I’ll do with RB532 since there is no flashcard.
Seems both versions of RTROS has problems. Why don’t MT divide the FS on two parts and do mount ROOTFS in readonly mode? That will prevent FS corruption. That things leads to unreliability of whole system - Router’s FS MUST NOT be made potentially corruptable on the routers or any hardware, which claims to be not-manageable and setupable on the remote locations.
When you say “many times”, how many times in a day, hour, week?
One of them not more than once in a day,
another not more than once in two weeks.
