Filter Rules not working or they work sometimes....

I’m trying to ban an IP range from an internet provider because all they do is try to send spam to my sever.

I setup to drop 114.42.0.0/16 because this where almost everthing I’ve found has been coming from.

When I watch the connections I shows that 1 IP address (114.42.8.210) keeps making it in and is able to push some traffic thru..

I know I’m new to this but I thought this would stop them…

anyone have any ideas?

Hard to say generically. Post a network diagram and your relevant configuration (“/ip address print detail”, “/ip route print detail”, “/interface print”, “/ip firewall export”).

I figured it out.
I was specifying the IP address in the dstaddress and also it was the type of chain…
