Fimware upgrade went terrible wrong

During a FW upgrade of a mikrotik it lost power. I have since been unable to get back into it. I have tried the serial port, neigboorhood viewer, winbox and the reset switch on the board all of which have failed. My only concern is I am not doing the serial port correctly. ANy help would be great.

THanks..

Do you mean an upgrade of RouterOS as described in http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Upgrading_RouterOS?

Or the bootloader firmware as described in http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Bootloader_upgrade?

If the RouterOS installed is broken just NetInstall as per http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Netinstall. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:First_time_startup#Serial_Cable gives more details on the serial console.

I’m under the impression that the bootloader firmware is written atomically and can’t be broken. If that’s wrong and the router died during a bootloader upgrade, though, it might be dead.
