Firewall BUG ???

Hello,

after some days in operation, the counters in the firewall starts to act funny.

On the input-rules, any change results in VERY large numbers.

The forward-rules simply stops counting.

You can se an example of stopped forward rules on demo2.mt.lv - as I can’t make changes, it is not easy to reproduce the input-problem

Could you please be more specific about the problem?
On the demo2.mt.lv router there is no forward traffic that’s why the counters are 0.

As I said, the counters in the forward chain stopped, as there were no traffic (but it is passing 10 Mbps through)

In the input-chain changes to a rule (modify/add) made the counters jump to very high values. After a “Reset All Counters” things looks normal until next change.

The router were passing traffic all the time.

I solved the problem by exporting the rules, deleting them and import again. Now everything looks normal, and the forward rules counts again.

What version of RouterOS are you using?

i have the same problem here…

the input rules are counting…
the forward rules are not, but seem to work
i did what was sugested by making a .rsc of the forward chain, delete all that was in them and recreated them with the .rsc script.
they are all in there again, but still no counting :frowning:

i upgraded from 2.9RC6 to RC7 but still no change…

any timeline??

Make screenshots and support output file, while something does not work. Send to support@mikrotik.com

i also noticed that logging is not working anymore.
if i select logging to memory.
nothing is in there anymore.

config is still ok…
