Firewall Builder support for MikroTik

Hi,

I am thinking about implementing a patch, which would make the Linux version of Firewall Builder compatible with MikroTik devices. How many of you are interested for such a patch? Would you be prepared to buy it (licensed under non-distributable license), for say $50?

I wouldn’t. IMO it is already easy enough to build a firewall in routeros and many of us who use routeros everyday already have a generic firewall scripts that we use and modify accordingly for most customers.

I think it’s a great idea and I would recommend it to my customers as a way to make rules portable and more manageable…as long as it was bug free.
