firewall layer 7 not work for ipv6

I usually blocked youtube

^.+youtube.*S

for ipv4 it works by using ipv6 is not working.
why?

Layer 7 firewalls are becoming impossible due to default use of encryption.
Probably it does not work for IPv4 anymore, either.
