Firewall - PPPoE as WAN

Hi all,

A Mikrotik noob question:

I’m using HAPac with the default settings.

I just changed my ISP, and the new ISP connection is with PPPoE - user name and password.
In the Quick set settings I have changed the “Address Acquisition” to PPPoE, and enter my ISP credentials.

Is the Firewall now consider PPPoE as WAN and will apply the the default firewall rules on this interface?
(in the interface list I see pppoe-out1 and ether1 as WAN)
Or should I take another steps to keep my network safe from the outside world?

Any suggestion will be welcome, and I will provide any info needed

it will automatically apply the firewall rules to pppoe interface no need to do anything.
