firewall rule interface: using hw-sw master-port sufficient?

I have enabled port switching ( http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Switch_Chip_Features ) on some of my routerboard’s interfaces.

Is it sufficient to use the master-port in my firewall rules? Or do I have to add a rule for each interface in the port switching group?

If some ports are slaved to a master then rules for the master will affect traffic to/from all the relevant slaves.
