Firmware update via IPv6

Using RouterOS 7.15rc1 on a hEX S which has working IPv6 Internet access. Checking for updates fails, but resolving and pinging upgrade.mikrotik.com works fine:

[admin@MikroTik] > /system/package/update/check-for-updates
            channel: testing
  installed-version: 7.15rc1
             status: ERROR: no internet connection

[admin@MikroTik] > put [resolve upgrade.mikrotik.com type=ipv6]
2a02:610:7501:3000::251
[admin@MikroTik] > ping 2a02:610:7501:3000::251
  SEQ HOST SIZE TTL TIME STATUS
    0 2a02:610:7501:3000::251                    56  55 38ms565us  echo reply
    1 2a02:610:7501:3000::251                    56  55 37ms719us  echo reply

Is this a known issue? Is the updater IPv4-only?

Cheers
