Firmware upgraded to 6.41, is this okay?

Hi all,

I just bought a RouterBOARD 962UiGS-5HacT2HnT, after good results with the Lite version but that was only 100mbit.

I upgrade to Current and with that I upgraded the firmware to 6.41.

With Current I was running into problems. Some clients could not connect and the speeds where awkward slow on a little distance and it was not stable. On the Lite I had Current without any problems.

I do not have time debug it all, it just needs to work at this time, so I downgraded to Bugfix only v6.39.3 (bugfix).

But now the firmware is still on 6.41. The factory firmware is 3.41 and that’s what is shows now as Upgrade firmware.

Do I need to downgrade to 3.41 to run Stable/bugfix?

No.

Thank you

Are you using it as AP-Bridge?
I ran into a bug with version 6.40.4, the frequency I type is ignored unless I set the frequency-mode as superchannel.
You can check in the Status page what frequency it’s really in use.
