I have a problem with Userman, allow me to submit my topology to you.
I have a Unifi AP wireless which is not connected to the Mikrotik, it is configured in VLAN-30 (on the unifi controler) and this VLAN-30 is configured on MT and connected to the main Bridge-Lan MT interface.
Bridge
VLAN-30-Hotspot
ether1-Wan
ether2-Lan
ether3-LTE
Bridge ports : All to Bridge except ether 1
The hotspot and Radius is configured, I get the captive portal, the correct DHCP and the DNS.xxxx.lan is also configured, I get the Logout / Login page.
- If I don’t activate the Hotspot, I have good speed with speedtest.net on the terminal.
If I activate the hotspot (without radius) I have almost no throughput, sometimes I can’t even run the speedtest.
For some unknown reason some times I have 230mb/s of speed on a profile limited to 2M. Now if I configure rate limiting from Userman I have the exact same behavior.
I don’t know why with unifi VLAN + AP + MT I have the connection perfectly and excellent speed, and with Hotspot (or) userman I can’t do anything in limiting.
And even if I don’t limit on a separate profile and user, I have a random behavior, which once will give a big flow and once I will not even be able to advance (12k).
Other strange facts, if I do not activate Radius I do not have the google redirection on the captive portal on Android, or on Apple.
If I activate Radius I have the Apple.com site showing on OS X and Google.com on Android.
The last point is not important.
The very important point is this speed limit which I absolutely cannot adjust.
Has anyone seen something like this?
