RB3011—1G_eth----CSS326_1------10G_fiber------CSS326_2
from rb3011:
/tool flood-ping <CSS326_1 address>
sent: 500
received: 500
min-rtt: 0
avg-rtt: 0
max-rtt: 1
(it takes two seconds to finish operation)
/tool flood-ping <CSS326_2 address>
sent: 500
received: 467
min-rtt: 0
avg-rtt: 0
max-rtt: 2
(it takes 35 seconds to finish operation)
It takes so long as well while flood-ping any network devices behind CSS326_2 (with some packet loss)
/tool flood-ping size=56 <CSS326_2 address>
takes about 6 seconds to finish
Common LAN operations between PC and other devices across two switches seem OK
Is there any real issue with this ?

Further tests: a linux machine with ping -f to machines at the other switch ends gives :
ping -f 192.168.1.253
PING 192.168.1.253 (192.168.1.253) 56(84) bytes of data.
…^
— 192.168.1.253 ping statistics —
41845 packets transmitted, 41411 received, 1% packet loss, time 17620ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.134/0.164/40.245/0.234 ms, pipe 4, ipg/ewma 0.421/0.155 ms
with loss of packets
while pinging the machines connected to same switch it gives :
ping -f 192.168.1.254
PING 192.168.1.254 (192.168.1.254) 56(84) bytes of data.
.^
— 192.168.1.254 ping statistics —
18514 packets transmitted, 18514 received, 0% packet loss, time 5915ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.154/0.192/0.810/0.021 ms, ipg/ewma 0.319/0.206 ms
no packet loss at all
main issue:
a windows machine can download easily files from other-side NAS (95MB/s on 1Gbps eth) , while upload is impossible (355KB/s then crash)
link between two css326 is made by FS SFP-10GLRM-31 modules over 40mt of OM1 optical fiber, link is ON @10Gbps full-duplex, flow control, auto-negotiation
I found I can ping between machines at both ends with 1500 bytes ,but any machine can ping each switch ip address with no more than 1472 bytes otherwise no reply is received.
Any suggestion ?
