I’m trying to configure my MikroTik to force specific devices to obtain a new IP address. Is there a way to do this using a script or another method? Ideally, I’d like to trigger a DHCP lease renewal or force the release. Any idea how ?
For the Mikrotiks themselves yes, with the renew/release commands. For client devices, generally no. There are some protocol features that would allow this but they are generally unsupported.
What Im trying to do is force devies get redirected to hotspot when the ip binding baypass ends you know and this was the only thing I found to make devices realise they dont have internet anymore pls I really need help for this one

I’m not sure how and if it works, but may be it could give you the right direction.
As a workaround (not good probably), you can set lease time as low as possible to make clients update more frequently. I was using this method to make clients quickly switch to backup dhcp server, if the main one goes down.
