Hi all, I’m trying to setup Dude to for my different sites, but the auto discovery is getting me too much info (I am aware of limiting the device type discovery from the discovery settings), but sometimes I need to add some devices manually. However, one thing that I can’t really do very accurately is to create the links manually. Dude usually does that when doing an initial discovery, but is there a way to force a device to discover its neighboring links? or do I have to create those manually?
Another weird issue with discovery that I am not sure about its cause, is that when I run discovery, it actually goes through to 100%, but then it says Finishing (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) 100% , but it really never finishes. Is that a known issue? is there a way around that? as I have a feeling that until that initial process finishes, the map doesn’t quite build its links or anything, so maybe this problem is the cause of my problem above??
