Forgetful Mikrotik

Hello there!

How is it that the router forgets ssh keys.

Well, that is, I do the keys import

>user ssh print

shows that keys imported
ssh works

But after a moment (about a minute)
No keys

>user ssh print

does not show imported keys
ssh not working
“authentication failure”

Any suggestions?

Are you out of space on your disk/flash?

You do not post any relevant detail, like disk space, routeros version, hardware used, router condifuration, upgrade/update history, bad blocks…

I never have that problem on one of my devices,
and never have read from other users on this forum the same problem.

Rant on "I have synthesized 99% of User post to one indisputable fact →
Most have opinions but do not provide facts/evidence and then arrogantly request responses based on nothing tangible to work with.

I am starting to think that MTs best course of action, for a new user’s first 20 new topics, should be requiring the entry of the following information in a template format, prior to the post being shown on the forum:
A. Network diagram
B. Set of user requirements
C. Config so far.

Rant off"

Come to think of it, that should stop all the nonsense advertisiing and spam posts that seem to occur regularly.
So come on Mikrotik Normands, pull up your socks, and make some changes…but only after you implement zero trust cloudflare tunnel as an optional package for ALL MT devices.

Flash died. Rip hap AC2.
