Forgotten RADIUS attributes

Well, we have a roaming agreement with a company. It happens they required me some RADIUS attributes, But, specifically, I need:

  • Location-ID
  • Location-Name
    I realized in your manual and MT dictionary file do not appear. What can I do?? Do you plan add then in some future version.

As it is not my first roaming agreement I know this attribute are essential for these companies because then the hotspot device, Nomadix 2000 AG+, it is possible to send them.

Location-ID and Location-Name are not valid (should I say official) Radius Attributes as far as I am aware. I’d suggest contacting the company and ask them to clarify what they need…

You can add your own Radius Server, load the company’s custom dictionary (which should include those attributes), and then proxy them off to their radius server for authentication…

I did it. I sent an email to Mikrotik company asking for theses attributes. Actually, these sttribute are necesary for IRAP standards, so I don’t undertand why the do not implemente yet.

I received the following notification from MT support

WIPSr-Location-ID, WISPr-Location-Name attributes support will be added to the next MikroTik RouterOS version.
