i have network 192.168.5.0/24 (eth2) with Panasonic Vierra TV (192.168.5.254) and network 192.168.6.0/24 (eth3) with NAS (192.168.6.254).
I want to have access to NAS from TV.
When I connect NAS to eth2 I can acces NAS in TV and all is working fine.
But i want to have NAS and TV in separate networks.
Problem is in TV, where i have only 4 settings - Server Name, Shared Folder, User, Password.
In Server Name field i can only put name, not IP. As i know TV sends multicast packet to find device with such name.
So the question is: Is it possible to make some “alias” for NAS in 192.168.5.0/24 ex. 192.168.5.253 <=> 192.168.6.254 or some other method to let TV find NAS, but keep NAS in separate network?
