i tried to forward extension files to an external proxy but failed.
i worked in the webproxy, but downloads still going from the default gaateway.
any help plzzzzzzzz .

i need to forward these downloadable files to an external squid box having a proxy and a port.

use parent-proxy setting:
http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs/ros/2.9/ip/webproxy.php
you will not be able to set specific file formats to forward, but it will redirect all downloadable file requests to the parent proxy.
Additionaly to ‘Normis’ post, ‘direct’ menu is used to manage traffic that should be forwarded to parent proxy.
