We need on occassional basis, configuration files written for the couple of MikroTik RB750UP routers we have out in the field. Need someone who has one of these, so that they can configure it to our spec. and after 1/2 payment, send us the config. file so we can use the “Restore” command, to load the file onto our test RB750UP in the office. Once confirmed the file is what we asked for, we pay final half, and then load file directly to our unit/s out in the field.
We need jobs done, as and when we need changes done, and we need a set price for each job. We pay by PayPal if you wish, and we would be happy to give our credentials to successful applicant, so you know we are a bona fide company.
The first job we need doing is someone to do a config file for a RB750UP router, which is being used solely for combining two WAN connections (fed by two seperate VDSL modems) into 1 LAN out. It needs to do some sort of load balancing and have a fall-back to the one working WAN input, if the other WAN fails. We would like it also to be upgradable, so we can add more WANS at a later date.
The output LAN is used to drive another remote RB750UP which dishes out DHCP addresses for our public hotspot service, which is out in the field working.
This first job is a bit urgent now, as we are paying for this new VDSL connection, but at the moment is not connected to anything.
I these units are available via internet in the field then you may wish to consider having minor changes made live with suitable rollback precautions taken. I am not a fan of using restore to make minor config changes - it usually causes more problems than live updates! We far prefer live access for minor changes and it usually takes less overall effort thus is cheaper!
OK, got the message that this is do-able myself (and yes I have found many wiki’s telling me how & how easy it is), and spent many a long hour trying it for myself, but keep hitting simple problems, with this scripting mylarky. Need someone to walk me through it, for which I am willing to pay, OR just do the config files, for which I am also willing to pay? Could do with some help real soon please? M.
