freeze country opcion.

Hi there,

got a question for you kit gurus.

It’s possible to freeze opcion country=the_country_that_i_want in wireless configuracion?

With this feature i have the security that a client couldn’t use frequency not allowed in the country where he lives.

You can do something similar only with limiting that user in User Groups…

What of those is the one that can limit this opcion?

you can’t do it, but AFAIK you are only required to sell the unit with compliant configuration. after it’s sold, it’s clients responsibility for this, and it could be considered hacking if he changes this.

for example - that same person could hack the frequency of a cisco AP, would cisco be to blame for this? probably not.
