I have a wireless network where clients connect to an accesspoint All Mikrotik. Everytime I have to change the frequency on the AP i need to log into every client router to change the frequency. Any sugestions.
What are you using for clients? Never heard of this.
Like I said all Mikrotik, The clients’ mikrotik connect to the AP they are all in station mode. If I for some reason have to change the frequency on the AP they don’t automaticly retune to the new frequency. I have to manually set their frequencies.

I’m pretty sure the actual “frequency” setting is ignored when the client connects to the AP and it will use whatever frequency the AP is on. At least I’m assuming so, since my clients all seem to be able to connect regardless of their frequency setting.
Do you have anything in the default scan list?
I was playing with my 2.4GHz channel about 10 minutes ago, every client connected. There is a 10dB difference here between the lower and higher channels, but everyone reconnected almost instantly. Only time to drop a single ping packet to each radio.
