Frequently Link Down / Up on hAP Lite

Hi everyone!

We have a lot of hAP lite deployed on our customers and some of these customers have randoms “Link Down / Up” on ether1.

Physically hAP is connected with a Ubiquiti CPE through ubiquiti poe to ether1 and ubiquiti doesn’t restarts.

Ether1 is used as WAN port with 2 vlan configured on it. Ether2, ether3, ether4 and wlan are bridged for LAN use.

rOS version is v6.32.3 bugfixes.

We changed ubiquiti antenna, the wire from antenna to ubiquiti POE and wire from POE to hAP lite without success.

Thats very strange and we decided to change hAP with a RB951 on one of these problematic customers.

Any idea?

You are powering with PoE? Try using the ac adapter.

no, hap lite doesn’t have poe in option. hap is powered by standard ac adapter.

Check this:

tip: try another model. With loco, we test all units we buy for 3 days connected to a cisco switch and check log to see what of them has problems.
