I am a beginner with Mikrotek from Germany but I have experience with Ciso and other networkhardware.
Please excuse my bad english but I try to do my best that you can understand me.
I have a Fritzbox 7390 connected to my provider via DSL.It has a DSL-modem inside.I configered it as standard.Network 192.168.178.0 255.255.255.0 dhcp is on with a pool of 192.168.178.20 - 192.168.178.200.The box has the IP 192.168.178.1.
To this Fritzbox i have connected a RB750GL with a static IP 192.168.178.201 on interface 1.Interface 2 has the subent 192.168.88.0 255.255.255.0,interface 3 192.168.90.0 255.255.255.0 and interface 4 192.168.92.0 255.255.255.0.I have DCHP on interface 2-4 with a pool of x.x.x.20-x.x.x.200.No firewall or nat is activated in the RB750.
I have created 3 static routes in the Fritzbox to the subnets in the RB750 (192.168.88.0 255.255.255.0 GW 192.168.178.201, 192.168.90.0 255.255.255.0 GW 192.168.178.201 and 192.168.92.0 255.255.255.0 GW 192.168.178.201 but I can’t reach these subnets from the Fritzbox but i can ping 192.168.178.201.
Within the RB750 everything seemed to allright because clients on these subnets can reach each other.I also can ping the Fritzbox (192.168.178.1) and also can ping internet adresses and ping adresses of the Fritzbox (192.168.178.0).
Sorry that I don’t have any further configuration details because i am in my office and don’t have access to my private net.
Does anyone know the Fritzbox 7390? Does anyone know whats going wrong here?
Thanks for your help in advance.
Lutz
Found the soloution myself. The Fritzbox needed a cold reboot - don’t know why - but anyway everything is working now.
