Hello!
I am trying to achieve the following and would like to know, if that is possible with the “RouterBOARD RB/450”:
I have a SDL line, which should only be used for ftp-uploads from users located in the office network (which uses another ADSL line for browsing), so I thought of deploying a ftp proxy on the RouterBOARD RB/450 whereby one LAN port is connected to the private office lan and the other one (as default GW) points to the SDL router.
Now, users, who want to do big uploads, should specify the RouterBOARD RB/450 as ftp-proxy, so that the traffic is routed via SDL and not routed via the slow DSL line.
Is that possible without any issues? The ftp-proxy doesn’t have to cache at all as that is only used for uploading - uploads are in the range from at least 400MB to 2 GB.
Thanks
