I am trying to setup my dual ADSL connection but am having a bit of a problem.
One of my ISP’s does not operate a bridge mode which means I must proxy arp on my DSL modem to enable the public IP to be on the mikrotik router.
I have added a static arp entry on the DSL router for 89.145.254.71 on the DSL modem, I understand I must create a route to 89.145.254.71 via the interface in which the DSL modem is connected which I done, this shows as ok. However when I add a route of 0.0.0.0/0 to the gateway 89.145.254.71 this is showing unreachable via arp or ping checks. I know for certain this does work as it was working ok on my OpenWRT router.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
